You don’t have to know the outcome all the time - just keep following what is in your heart and that is what will lead you to living and creating all that you love. It can be challenging to stick to your path and not be distracted by all the noise, conditioning and beliefs. But we ONLY get this one life and it’s ours to live it our way.

Our guest this episode has an incredible reputation in that proceeds her, Therese Tarlinton is a 'thriving gal' who has had an incredible influence in the marketing and branding world, developing collaborations to create partnerships that 'blow your socks off!' Her new book, SWAP: Marketing Without Money recipe is a must read especially post covid where there has been huge movement away from the corporate world into entrepreneurship.
Therese and I chat about her daily thriving 'me time' that spurs her creative and innovative thinking about how partnering with another brand could just be the tonic you both need. its simple really - just pick up the phone with a brand you admire and start with "What can we do together?"

Leaders are all around us with extraordinary heart and soul and Jade Hughes, our guest this episode is a sensational gift to us all.
A young mum who balances multiple roles and responsibilities, Jade knows how challenging it can be to thrive in different areas of life and she shares some of her practical advice and inspiration with me as we talk about resiliency, a deep desire to learn, and how 'kindness' is a core value and pillar of the way she wants to show up daily.
Jade founded the Guillain-Barre Syndrome Foundation of Australia (NFP) in honour of her beautiful mum who was diagnosed with GBS when Jade was 1 year old and her advocacy for those affected today 'sparks the fire" in her. Coming to Australia at 22 years of age was a huge move, starting afresh with a mindset that didn't focus on limiting beliefs but on kindness - "there is good in us and it's good for us!"

This is the second conversation Kerry and I have had which I thought was too important not to have! Why you ask?
Kerry's new best seller is right 'on the money' as it looks deeply into 'How To Heal A Workplace' and is backed up with current post covid research that showcases that 80% of workplaces have a toxic culture.
We discuss many things but most importantly, Kerry references women who are experiencing burnout at higher rates than men, identified from their challenges in being able to speak up. Kerry uses many examples of her work case studies to show that burnout can be used to great effect as it makes women better people leaders. Love the above the line thinking!
Listen in as we talk differences in generational communication, lack of soultion focused problem solving, expanding our self awareness skills and being more open to 'difference and diversity'. "When we understand ourselves as a system, we can self actualise and do things to assist ourself. Understanding what is a 'normal response' and what is a 'perception of threat' can move us from feeling that everything is 'black and white' to 'a rainbow' of options and strategies.

Would you believe I have two brilliant gals as our guests in this episode of Thriving Matters, Angela and Cristina! I have recently met both these gals face to face in Sydney which was incredible. So of course I booked them up for a double header - I hope you enjoy!

have to slow down, swerve, or even take a complete turn. Read the signs, always
be aware of your environment.
3. Collaboration is the most important thing to take note of and most of all
understand that collaboration has many definitions.
4. Competition is healthy, but collaboration is where you grow.
5. Teach your brain to CONCENTRATE ON WHAT TO DO and you will move
forward.
6. Observe what and who is around you and acknowledge your “team” be it in business or those supporting you.
7. Most importantly remember to smile inside and out.

Phoebe is all about educating and simplifying your money life! her heart- centred approach to leading her team and offering much needed professional learning for women who have experienced massive financial change over the last four years .
Phoebe and I talk about being financially stable so we can make better decisions, experience less stress and feel confidence in our business and life decisions and plans.
Her book " The Happy Money Journey" is the result of her work experience in the banking and mortgage world. We explore her daily thriving habits and those she has encouraged with her team and Sky, the dog. Covid significantly influenced her view and her career experience of 'climbing the ladder' to such an extent that autocratic leadership is no longer encouraged in all she does.
We share the coaching way of leading the team, always asking about the person first - careful questions bring out how the team is travelling and how they can support each other when under pressure. Phoebe has developed her own small group coaching for women entrepreneurs with a special lens on women +50 years who are 'stressed and stetched'. Check out her instagram 'Happy Monday' posts as well.
